Latest: 19 international airlines suspend flights to Dubai International Airport



Planning to fly through Dubai International Airport anytime soon? It’s a good idea to double-check your airline’s status before heading to the airport.

Although Emirates and flydubai are continuing to operate — albeit with reduced schedules — many international carriers are still not flying in and out of Dubai.

According to Reuters, foreign airlines are currently limited to just one daily return flight to Dubai’s main airports, including Al Maktoum International Airport, until May 31.

If you’re affected, here’s a breakdown of airlines that have paused or adjusted their Dubai routes — and what it means for your travel plans.

Airlines are currently suspending Dubai flights

Aegean Airlines

The Greek national carrier has suspended all flights to Dubai until June 29, 2026. Passengers can request refunds, opt for travel vouchers, or reschedule their flights without additional charges up to July 31.

Air Astana

Flights to and from Dubai remain suspended through May 31. Travelers can choose between a full refund or rebooking in the same class on flights departing before July 31.

airBaltic

This Latvian airline has extended its suspension until October 24. Customers will be contacted once operations are expected to resume.

Air Canada

Flights to Dubai are canceled until September 7. Passengers have flexible options, including rebooking for later in the year, switching destinations, or receiving travel credit.

Air France

Operations are paused until May 3, with the return flight on May 4 also canceled. Customers can delay or cancel their trips free of charge.

British Airways

Dubai flights are suspended through May 31, alongside routes to other Middle Eastern destinations. Travelers can rebook, reschedule, or request a refund for bookings made up to October 31.

Cathay Pacific

Flights between Hong Kong and Dubai are canceled until June 30. Flexible rebooking, rerouting, or refunds are available for affected passengers.

Cebu Pacific

This budget carrier has stopped Dubai operations until May 31. Travelers can choose rebooking, refunds, or travel credits.

Finnair
